Health Care Informatics is the intersection of information science, computer science, and health care. It deals with the resources, devices, and methods required to optimize the acquisition, storage, retrieval, and use of information in health care. To ensure IWS uses all the data available to support its mission of working towards the better health and well-being of individuals and their workplace, analyzing medical claims, pharmacy claims, Health Risk Assessment data and Biometrics is core to success. Utilizing informatics tools and oversight by IWS' clinical staff allows Clients to better understand and support the holistic health needs of their organization and work with IWS to develop effective strategies.
